History of the Laurel School

The idea for the school first arose when a group of parents, all of whom had experience in school co-ops, perceived their children’s need for small classes with hands-on learning in a safe and encouraging environment, and wanted direct involvement in making this idea into a reality. The Laurel School first opened its doors in 2002 and is now in its sixth year of operation.
